Managing a Volume

KS / KS 5000U / KSa 5016U

You can view and manage existing virtual machine storage volumes.

Procedure

  1. Go to EonKube > Virtualization > Volumes.
  2. To create a new volume, click Create.
  3. To expand the size of the volume, copy, or remove the volume, click ⋮ for more operation options:
    • When expanding a volume, for a Windows VM, after you expand the volume size on EonKube, make the corresponding changes in the VM, too. For a Linux VM, the system will detect and start using the newly-added space.
  4. To change the volume size in a Windows VM: Open Disk Management. Select and hold (or right-click) the volume that you want to expand. Select Extend Volume and complete the settings.
    • When copying a volume, the new volume will contain all existing data stored in the copied volume.
